About Adept Heed Care

Adept Heed Care is a new care provider in South-East Queensland. We prioritise participant health, safety, and well-being, specialising in providing support in SIL houses.

Your Duties as a Support Worker

You will be assisting participants with:

  • Challenging behaviours
  • Physical, intellectual, or psychiatric disabilities
  • Providing compassionate support to vulnerable children

Your Responsibilities

  • Support throughout daily living: housekeeping, cooking, shopping, personal care, hygiene
  • Community access and transportation
  • Accurate completion of shift notes and incident reports
  • Medication administration as per policy and client care plans

  • Proactive and able to think on your feet under pressure
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Your Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check / Yellow Card
  • Blue Card (Paid)
  • Full Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care, or equivalent experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID011) & CPR (HLTAID009)
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, public holidays
  • Must be double vaccinated against COVID-19
